PBS Series to Cover Women in Armed Forces

RAMSCA received this information from Katie Johns, a researcher with Blink Films, the producers of documentary series We'll Meet Again for PBS:

"We'll Meet Again explores significant historic events that have shaped America and its citizens - told not from the point of view of world leaders, but through the eyes of ordinary people who experienced them directly.

Our first season has recently broadcast on PBS, featuring watershed events such as WWII, 9/11 and the Civil Rights Movement. Each episode introduces us to two individuals whose lives were impacted by history and we follow them on a journey of detection as they look for a long-lost friend, comrade, family member or significant stranger.

We are in the process of researching for a second season and we would love to explore the work of women in the armed forces, in particular those who served in the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf Wars. I would love the chance to connect with the women who served in these operations and might be looking to reconnect with someone significant they crossed paths with during these events."

AMEDD Museum Foundation Capital Campaign

The Army Medical Department Museum Foundation is engaged in an ambitious $5.4 million capital campaign for the modernization and enhancement of the existing Army Medical Department Museum, located in San Antonio on Fort Sam Houston. We have a wonderful facility, built and maintained by the generous gifts of the AMEDD family and friends, but it is aging and requires upgrade now!

Please consider a generous donation to this capital campaign.
